The Jupiter, FL, production of the 1950 Frank Loesser musical, which draws on stories by Damon Runyon, will feature Michael Gruber (Broadway's Kiss Me, Kate, Cats, My Favorite Year) as Sky, Tia Speros (Paper Mill and Long Wharf's Guys and Dolls) as Adelaide, Allison Wala as Sarah Brown and Andrew Polk as Nathan Detroit, with Richard Ruiz, Richard Vita, Mason Roberts, Barry Tarallo, Mark Martino, Joshua Odor, Elizabeth Clinard, Staphanie Nelson and Vincent Monachino.
Pelzig choreographed the Maltz's My Fair Lady two years ago. He makes his directorial debut with this production. Pelzig served four years as resident choreographer for the Boston Ballet. He has numerous theatre, opera and ballet credits.
Peter Croken, executive director of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, said, "We are incredibly lucky to have Danny back again. His vision for this production of Guys and Dolls is the natural progression of his previous work with us. It allows us to bring this big classic musical to our audiences."
