Kimmel's guests will include notable New Yorkers David Letterman, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Kelly Ripa and Tracy Morgan with musical performances by Alicia Keys, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Vampire Weekend and the Avett Brothers with the Brooklyn Philharmonic.
Kimmel will also highlight the people and sights of Brooklyn, including a tour of his old neighborhood and childhood home. His week in Brooklyn coincides with the inaugural game of the newly minted Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.
Starting on Jan. 8, 2013, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" will air weeknights on ABC at 11:35 PM ET. Until that time, the chat show airs weeknights at midnight on ABC.
