Prior to the Off-Broadway premiere of Jerry Springer—The Opera, Works & Process at the Guggenheim will present The New Group: Jerry Springer—The Opera January 8, 2018, at 7:30 PM.

Co-creator Richard Thomas and director John Rando will discuss the process behind the musical that celebrates the ritual of public humiliation and redemption. Cast members will perform highlights.

Tony nominees Terrence Mann and Will Swenson will star in the New Group’s 2018 production of Jerry Springer – The Opera. The Off-Broadway staging will begin performances January 23.
