Creator Tim Kring wrote the pilot for the series that revolves around a father (Sutherland) and his autistic and mute son (David Mazouz) who can predict events before they happen. Glover has signed on to play Arthur DeWitt, a professor who works with gifted children, and Mbatha-Raw will play a social worker.
Sutherland will also executive produce alongside Kring, Katherine Pope and Peter Chernin for 20th Television and Chernin Entertainment.
Mbatha-Raw has been seen on Broadway in Hamlet opposite Jude Law, and Glover has been seen in Master Harold… and the Boys, for which he won the Theatre World Award. Sutherland recently finished his run in That Championship Season.
Production on "Touch" is set to begin shortly.
