Since July the sketch-comedy-style evening has been playing an open-ended run Off-Broadway at the Players Theater on Macdougal Street in Greenwich Village. Driscoll takes over two roles in the comedy: Ronnie, a happy-go-lucky lover of career women; and Barry, a B-movie idol.
A native of Virginia, Driscoll grew up just outside of Washington, DC, in a military household. He attended George Mason University before moving to New York.
The cast of eight is directed by the author, who has been involved in the New York independent film scene for nine years.
The acting ensemble includes Driscoll, Rachel Nau, Thomas J. Pilutik, Jennifer Missoni, Angelique Letizia, Nicholas J. Coleman and Jessica Durdock.
Lighting design is by Amith A. Chandrashaker. Set design is by Jana Mattioli.
The Players Theater is located at 115 Macdougal Street at Minetta, one block east of Sixth Avenue, and a block south of Washington Square Park.
Performances play Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 3 PM.
