News Guys and Dolls' Graham to Produce and Star in New TV Sitcom Screen actress Lauren Graham, who will soon test her musical mettle in the 2009 Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls, is at work on a new sitcom for ABC television.

The "Gilmore Girls" star, according to Variety, will play a self-help guru who finds her own advice hard to swallow after she's dumped by her boyfriend. The untitled half hour sitcom is being penned by "Will & Grace" writer Alex Herschlag.

Graham will serve as producer along with writer Herschlag and Tantamount's Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, Mitch Hurwitz and Hagada Hey.

Graham is set to star as perennial bride-to-be Miss Adelaide in the 2009 Broadway revival of Frank Loesser, Abe Burrows and Jo Swerling's 1950 musical Guys and Dolls. The production, which begins performances at the Nederlander Theatre Feb. 2, 2009, will also star Oliver Platt as Nathan Detroit, Craig Bierko as Sky Masterson and Kate Jennings Grant as Sarah Brown.
