News Gypsy's Bernadette Peters Chats on TV Sept. 27 Two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters, currently starring in the hit revival of Gypsy, will chat about her newest stage role this weekend.

Peters will guest on NY1's "On Stage" theatre program, where she will be interviewed by co-host Paul Lombardi. "On Stage" is broadcast in the New York area Saturday and Sundays from 9:30-10 AM and again from 7:30-8 PM. The weekly television show also airs Mondays from 9:30-10 PM and later that night from 12:30-1 AM.

Bernadette Peters received a 2003 Tony Award nomination for her performance as Momma Rose in the Sam Mendes-directed revival of Gypsy. She won her two Tonys for her performances in Song & Dance and Annie Get Your Gun, and she has also starred on Broadway in Mack & Mabel, On the Town, Sunday in the Park with George, The Goodbye Girl and the original production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods.
