Matthew Stadelmann stars in Rag and Bone.

Sam Gold (The Black Eyed) stages the work that is scheduled to officially open Nov. 20 for a run through Dec. 16. In Rag and Bone, press notes state, "Jeff and George, mourning the death of their mother, struggle to make ends meet at the family ladder store, which George also utilizes as a front for the black market sale of human hearts."

Stadelmann leads a cast that also features Michael Chernus (American Sligo, Essential Self Defense), Kevin Jackson (Topdog/Underdog, Fences), Deidre O'Connell (Fugue, Stone Cold Dead Serious), Henry Stram (Inherit the Wind, The Crucible), Audrey Lynn Weston (Rearviewmirror, Work) and David Wohl (Fiddler on the Roof, Dinner at Eight).

Stadelmann replaced the previously announced Logan Marshall-Green, who withdrew from the play "due to a scheduling conflict," according to a previous release.

A veteran of Adam Rapp plays, Stadelmann recently appeared in American Sligo and has also played in Stone Cold Dead Serious and Trueblinka. Other credits include Victoria Martin: Math Team Queen, Hot 'n' Throbbing and "Ed."

The creative team includes Dane Laffrey (sets), Oana Botez-Ban (costumes), Ben Stanton (lights) and Eric Shim (sound). Christina Lowe serves as production stage manager with Heather Davidson as assistant stage manager.

The comedy made its world premiere in 2005 as part of the Long Wharf Theatre's New American Voices series. Tina Landau directed a cast that featured Annie Golden.

Tickets to Rag and Bone at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place (between West 11 & Perry St.), are available through (212) 868-4444. For more information visit rattlestick.org.
