News Hair "Be-In" to Feature Allison Case, Alysha Umphress and Morgan Karr The Broadway cast of Hair will hold a special "Be-In" for the LGBT equality organization Broadway Impact Aug. 7 at the Cooper Square Hotel.

The sold-out concert will reunite cast members from the 2008 revival and from the current national tour, which is playing a limited engagement at the St. James Theatre through Sept. 10.

Scheduled to appear are Hair veterans Ato Blankson-Wood, Allison Case, Andrew Kober, Brandon Pearson and Maya Sharpe, as well as special guests Morgan Karr (Spring Awakening), Rachel Potter (The Addams Family) and Alysha Umphress (American Idiot).

The 7:30 PM concert, to be held in the Penthouse of the Cooper Square Hotel, is a presentation of the Joe's Pub Summer Salon Series. Representatives state that last-minute tickets may be available at the door, pending the weather forecast.

Broadway Impact was founded by Tony Award-nominated 2008 Hair revival star Gavin Creel and Book of Mormon Tony nominee Rory O'Malley.

The principal cast of the current Broadway production of Hair includes Steel Burkhardt (Berger), Paris Remillard (Claude), Matt DeAngelis (Woof), Kaitlin Kiyan (Crissy), Darius Nichols (Hud), Kacie Sheik (Jeanie), Phyre Hawkins (Dionne) and Caren Lyn Tackett (Sheila).

Completing the tribe are Shaleah Adkisson, Emily Afton, Nicholas Belton, Larkin Bogan, Corey Bradley, Marshal Kennedy Carolan, Laura Dreyfuss, Mike Evariste, Lulu Fall, Tripp Fountain, Nkrumah Gatling, Allison Guinn, Sara King, Josh Lamon, John Moauro, Christine Nolan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Arbender Robinson, Cailan Rose, Tanesha Ross, Jen Sese and Lee Zarrett.
