News Hair Documentary to Be Screened at 92YTribeca March 4 The 92YTribeca will offer a screening of "Hair: Let the Sunshine In," the documentary film that traces the roots and legacy of the landmark musical, on March 4.

"Hair: Let the Sunshine In" features interviews with authors James Rado and Gerome Ragni, composer Galt MacDermot and late Broadway director Tom O'Horgan as well as Oscar winner Milos Forman, who directed the 1979 film adaptation of Hair.

Following the 8 PM screening, documentary filmmaker Pola Rapaport will discuss the making of her 55-minute film, which incorporates archival footage from numerous U.S. and international productions of Hair.

The documentary also includes footage of James Rado rehearsing Hair with various companies, interviews with original Hair cast members Keith Carradine, Ben Vereen and Melba Moore, as well as Broadway Hair producer Michael Butler.

The Broadway revival of Hair, under the direction of Diane Paulus, will begin performances at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre March 6.
