PlayBlog Hair Performs at the GLAAD Awards The original cast of the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair were the recipients of a Special Recognition Award at the GLAAD Media Awards in Manhattan March 13.

In the spirit of the musical's message of love, the original Broadway company of the Broadway revival took a day off from performing in order to attend the National Equality March in Washington, DC, last October. They were honored by GLAAD for their efforts to promote equality and performed as part of the event.

Here are Tony nominee Gavin Creel (and Broadway Impact co-founder) and the original Hair revival company performing "Let the Sun Shine In."
