The evening, which begins at 7 PM, celebrates the work of composer Jeremy Schonfeld. Vocalists include Alexander Vanjah Boikai, Ellen Condon, Krista Paolella, Natalie Walker and Christopher Yee. Schonfeld will also be on hand to accompany the singers on piano. Chris Kong is the musical director for the series.
The New Voices series was founded by composer Scott Alan to "showcase some of today's brightest new talent in New York." Alan's debut recording, "Dreaming Wide Awake" — which features performances by Liz Callaway, Stephanie J. Jeremy Schonfeld is a singer/songwriter/composer/lyricist, whose works include Drift, It Happened One Christmas and Home. His songs can also be heard on the CD "37 Notebooks."
