Five musicals will be part of the 2018 season at the North Shore Music Theatre, the regional in-the-round playhouse located in Beverly, Massachusetts.

The upcoming season will launch June 5, 2018, with Jerry Herman's Tony-winning Mame. The classic musical, which follows the madcap adventures of Mame Dennis, will run through June 17. The adventures of Peter Pan and his sidekick Tinkerbell will follow, when the North Shore presents Peter Pan July 10-22.

The international hit Mamma Mia!, about bride-to-be Sophie who is on a quest to find the identity of her father before her wedding day, will be presented August 7-19. The musical is packed with 22 ABBA hits, including “Dancing Queen,” "Take a Chance on Me,” and “The Winner Takes It All.”

In September Frank Wildhorn's musical take on the tale of Jekyll & Hyde will play the Massachusetts venue, running September 25-October 7. The fall will also bring the Tony-winning Hairspray, based on the film of the same name. The musical, which features a score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, will be presented October 30-November 11.

The season will conclude with the 28th annual presentation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, running December 7-23. The North Shore production features an original adaptation by former Artistic Director Jon Kimbell.
