News   Hairspray's Winokur Cast in TV "Mattress" Opposite Burnett Marissa Jaret Winokur, who stars in the upcoming ABC Family Channel film "Beautiful Girl," has landed another lead TV role.

Liz Smith reports that the Tony Award-winning Hairspray star has been cast in the third TV production of Once Upon a Mattress. Winokur will play Princess Winnifred opposite the original Princess, Carol Burnett. Burnett, who starred in Mattress on Broadway in 1959 and on television in 1964 (in black and white) and in 1972 (in color), will play the conniving Queen Aggravain. The 1996 Broadway revival featured "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker in the role created by Burnett with co-stars David Aaron Baker, Jane Krakowski and Mary Lou Rosato.
