Hollywood Reporter says that writer-producer Dana Klein — of "Friends" fame — is working on a project for Winokur that will cast her as "a working girl who strikes it rich and moves with her husband to a private gated community." Klein will executive-produce the as-of-yet untitled series, with Winokur and manager Michael Valeo as producers. Winokur, the industry paper says, is also still developing the New Line feature "Always a Bridesmaid," in which she will star.
Marissa Jaret Winokur won the 2003 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray.
