News   Hal Brooks Will Direct Free Reading of Andy Bragen's This Is My Office

Out Loud, Ars Nova's free play-reading series dedicated to developing new work by emerging playwrights, will continue March 28.

Hal Brooks will direct the 7 PM reading of Andy Bragen's This Is My Office. The one-man play will be read by Greg Keller.

"Offered a nine month artist residency in an abandoned office space near Wall Street," press notes state, "Andy Bragen starts his year with bright hopes and big plans. But Andy soon finds himself succumbing to doughnuts, lethargy and a paralyzing sense of deja vu. A humorous, genre-bending exploration of fear, art, gluttony and a legacy of failure."

Hal Brooks directed the Obie winning No Child... by Nilaja Sun as well as the world premiere of Pulitzer Finalist Will Eno's Thom Pain.

Although the reading is free, reservations are required; call (212) 977-1700 or email rsvp@arsnovanyc.com. Ars Nova is located at 511 West 54 Street.  For more information visit www.arsnovanyc.com.
