News Hal Holbrook Will Receive Julie Harris Award at Annual Tony Awards Party in Los Angeles Veteran actor Hal Holbrook, a Tony winner for Mark Twain Tonight!, will be presented with the Actors Fund's Julie Harris Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Tony Awards Party in Los Angeles, according to Variety.

The annual Tony bash will be held June 12 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The event will be produced and written by Marc Cherry (producer/creator of "Desperate Housewives") and David Rambo (producer/writer of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation").

The festivities begin at 3:30 PM with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner and the live Tony telecast from 5-8 PM. The presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award will immediately follow.

Previous recipients of the Julie Harris Award include Tommy Tune, Jerry Herman, Julie Harris, Gwen Verdon, Charles Durning, Rita Moreno, James Earl Jones, Tyne Daly, Lauren Bacall, Carol Channing, Stockard Channing and Liza Minnelli.

Holbrook's other Broadway credits include An American Daughter; Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?; I Never Sang for My Father; The Apple Tree; Man of La Mancha; The Glass Menagerie; Tartuffe; Incident at Vichy; Marco Millions; After the Fall; and Do You Know the Milky Way? He is a five-time Emmy Award winner and an Academy Award nominee for "Into the Wild."
