News Hall's Midsummer Night's Dream Delays London Opening Edward Hall's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, performed by the all-male Propeller Company, has altered its press night from Aug. 8 to Aug. 14.

A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's most popular plays, and a brilliant version of it (starring Dawn French as Bottom) was staged at the Albery Theatre a few years ago. As a director, Edward Hall is currently riding high, and this new production is likely to be as entertaining as many of the other versions that have been seen in London recently — including that at the Open Air Theatre, Regents Park, which is running in repertory until Sept. 6.

Hall has also recently directed David Mamet's Edmond, starring Kenneth Branagh, which can be seen in repertory at the National Theatre through Oct. 4.
