In this look back at the inaugural BroadwayCon, Playbill’s former editor in chief Blake Ross hosted a panel with Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of Hamilton.

In this first clip from the panel, the cast members look back upon how it was that they came to be a part of the groundbreaking show.

In this clip, Miranda, Daveed Diggs, Phillipa Soo, Christopher Jackson and Renée Elise Goldsberry speak about the things they have learned about American history since joining the production.

Here, Miranda makes parallels between the social and political climate of Hamilton’s era and today; Leslie Odom, Jr. elaborates on what it means to perform the show for world leaders.

Finally, each cast member recalls a strange stage door encounter and reveals what celebrity they were most excited to see in the audience.
