News Hamilton Fans Willing to Pay Thousands to Meet Lin-Manuel Miranda Charitybuzz.com, which hosts online auctions to benefit charities, is offering theatre fans the chance to see Hamilton followed by a backstage tour and a meet-and-greet with the show's creator and star, Lin-Manuel Miranda. With two days of bidding still remaining, the package is currently priced at $42,500.

The package is valid for two people and includes two house seats at Hamilton, donated by the Miranda family. Sales from the auction will benefit Girl Be Heard Institute, a non-profit theatre and educational program that provides a safe environment for girls to write, direct and perform theatre productions under the guidance of professionals.
