News Hamilton to Play Nurse Ratched in Berkshire's Cuckoo's Nest Linda Hamilton will play Nurse Ratched in this summer's Berkshire Theatre Festival revival of Dale Wasserman's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, which runs on the Main Stage July 10-July 28, with an opening on July 13.

Hamilton will star opposite the previously announced Jonathan Epstein as Randall Patrick McMurphy and Randy Harrison ("Queer as Folk") as Billy Bibbit.

Harrison will also play Frank in BTF's production of George Bernard Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession, which begins Aug. 14, opens Aug. 17 and ends Sept. 1.

Eric Hill directs Cuckoo's Nest, Wasserman's classic adaptation of Ken Kesey's novel about a mental institution. The play will also star Ron Bagden, Austin Durant, Gerry Krasser, Tommy Schrider and E. Gray Simons III.

In other BTF casting news, Kate Maguire — BTF's artistic director — will play Amanda in Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, which will also star Greg Keller and Tom Story. David Atkins will star in Terrence McNally's Love! Valour! Compassion!. Corinna May and Diane Prusha will star in Two-Headed by Julie Jensen.

Epstein and Tara Franklin will star in Willy Russell's Educating Rita, which will be directed by Richard Corley. Hamilton appeared in last season's BTF production of The Night of the Iguana. She is perhaps best known for playing Sara Connor in the films "The Terminator" and "Terminator 2." Hamilton received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her role in the CBS series "Beauty and the Beast," and she has acted in television movies such as "A Mother's Prayer," and "The Color of Courage." Her recent film credits include "Missing in America," "Smile" and "Broken."

Other shows announced for the festival this season include My Pal George written and performed by Rick Cleveland and Paul Osborn's Morning's at Seven.
