Tony Award-winning Hamilton star Leslie Odom, Jr. will headline the Long Wharf Theatre’s 2018 gala June 4 in New Haven, Connecticut.
Hot off the film remake of Murder on the Orient Express, Odom, Jr. will be backed by a five-piece band for the intimate concert that will offer a mix of pop and jazz standards, with stops along the way to revisit some of his Broadway roles.
Odom, Jr.’s acclaimed performance as Aaron Burr in the Broadway smash hit Hamilton earned him the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. His debut album Leslie Odom, Jr., a mix of standards and songs from Broadway, was released in June 2016 on S-Curve Records.
