Stories from Isaac Oliver's blog, which chronicles his life as a gay playwright in New York, will come to life on stage in the Feb. 26-27 readings of He Who Laughs Live.

Co-developed and directed by David Ruttura, the readings at the TAI Group will feature the author as well as Micah Bucey, Colin Hanlon, Josh LaCasse, Melanie Hopkins, Roger Lirtsman, Carrie McCrossen, Maria McConville and Ian McWethy. Show times are Feb. 26 at 9 PM and Feb. 27 at 6 and 9 PM. (The 9 PM readings are sold out.)

He Who Laughs Live, according to press notes, is based on Oliver's blog "He Who Laughs, Or The Complete Idiot's Guide to Intimacy," which features "an hysterical and poignant array of New York Moments, Afternoon Swoons, Scenes from Casual Sex, Box Office Scenes and Coffee Conglomerates-Come-to-Life."

Oliver's plays include Electra in a One-Piece, Eddie Goshen is Dead, Long Dirty Jokes and Slim, Dancing Joy.

Melanie Hopkins and Rob Shapiro will produce the readings.
