Negotiations are underway with various unions for the Broadway revival of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, to add more performances on the weekend in lieu of Tuesday nights. Press Rep, Jim Byk confirmed the move was being considered with the rationalization being, "for the virtue of more performances on the weekend, where we're doing quite well. We know what our strengths are and we're hoping to focus on them."

Such a move would allow the production to perform a total of six times on weekends, giving the cast and crew off Monday through Wednesday.

For the week ending Feb. 28, Charlie Brown grossed $169,856 (out of a potential $496,573) and filled only 44 percent of its seats. The show currently runs Wed 2 PM, Wed & Thur 7:30 PM, Fri & Sat 8 PM, Sat 2 PM and Sun 1 & 5:30 PM. Weekend matinees will assumedly be a more convenient time than weekday nights for parents to bring younger audiences to the show.
