PlayBlog   Happy Birthday, Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber (Video)
To celebrate the joint birthdays of two major musical theatre composers, Stephen Sondheim (81) and Andrew Lloyd Webber (63), Playbill.com offers a sampling of some of their most memorable creations.

To honor Sondheim, Bernadette Peters performs an emotional rendition of "Being Alive" from Company, and Angela Lansbury and George Hearn offer the macabre comic masterpiece "A Little Priest" from Sweeney Todd.

For Lloyd Webber's birthday, we'll give you some unique spins on two of his classic songs. Betty Buckley re-creates "Memory" from Cats in a striking concert arrangement for piano, and, from the vaults, we've got a vintage music video of Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman, in full Phantom of the Opera regalia, performing "Music of the Night."

Enjoy below, and Happy Birthday, sirs.
