News   "Happy Days" Star Winkler Will Be Captain Hook for U.K. Peter Pan
Golden Globe Award winner Henry Winkler — best known for his role as The Fonz on the long-running ABC series "Happy Days — will play Captain Hook in Peter Pan for the U.K.'s Milton Keynes Theatre this holiday season.

The "Happy Days" star previously performed the role of Hook in a London mounting of the annual holiday pantomime in 2006. The Milton Keyes production will run Dec. 5-19. Based on the J.M. Barrie novel, the production promises "stunning special effects, amazing flying, and dazzling sets."

Also set to appear in Peter Pan are Louisa Lytton ("Eastenders") in the title role with comedian Andy Ford as Hook's sidekick, Smee.

Winkler has appeared on Broadway in The Dinner Party and 42 Seconds from Broadway. Well known for his role as Fonzie on "Happy Days," his screen credits also include "Arrested Development," "Out of Practice" and "Third Watch." He has appeared in the films "Night Shift," "The King of Central Park," "Down to You" and "The Waterboy."
