The Long Island Philharmonic will bring Broadway to their Dec. 31 gala New Year's celebration when Donna McKechnie, Marin Mazzie, Terri White and Jason Danieley join the orchestra for a night of singing and dancing.

In a retrospect entitled "The American Century," this cast, alongside the Long Island Philharmonic Chorus, will present television, Broadway, movie and classical favorites, beginning at 7:30 PM. McKechnie, a Tony winner for A Chorus Line, recently appeared in Paper Mill Playhouse's revival of Stephen Sondheim's Follies. Spouses Mazzie and Danieley have several credits behind them, she as the current star of Kiss Me, Kate and as Mother in Ragtime, he in Candide and Floyd Collins. Obie-winning actress and director White appeared on Broadway in Ain't Misbehavin'.

Highlights will include selections from West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Gershwin's "Fascinating Rhythm," music from "Star Wars" and Benny Goodman's "Sing, Sing, Sing."
