News   Harris and Chalke to Host Creative Arts Emmy Awards Sept. 20 Neil Patrick Harris (Assassins) and Sarah Chalke (Modern Orthodox) will host the 2008 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which will be presented Sept. 20 in Los Angeles.

Spike Jones, Jr. produces the Creative Arts Emmys, which will air as a two-hour special on E! Entertainment Television beginning at 8 PM ET; check local listings.

Among the awards that will be presented are Outstanding Guest Actor/Actress in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Guest Actor/Actress in a Drama Series, Outstanding Reality Series and Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special.

Neil Patrick Harris' Broadway credits include Assassins, Proof and Cabaret as well as the L.A. company of Rent, the Reprise! and New York Philharmonic productions of Sweeney Todd and the London mounting of tick, tick . . . BOOM! Harris is also well known for his television work on "How I Met Your Mother," "Doogie Howser, M.D." and the current web series "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog."

Sarah Chalke appeared Off-Broadway in Daniel Goldfarb's Modern Orthodox. Her screen credits include "Scrubs," "Roseanne" and "How I Met Your Mother."

The Primetime Emmy Awarrds will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles Sept. 21 beginning at 8 PM on ABC.
