Unseen Theatre, a professional theatre company taking residence at Harvard University's Adams House Theatre in Cambridge, MA, is looking for plays for its "Two Cents Festival" -- a weekend of staged reading of new plays to be held Dec. 6-8, 1996.

Plays for consideration must be full-length and unproduced and can NOT be in the form of musicals, one-person shows, or plays for children. Submitted plays consisting of seven or fewer characters are preferred.

Three scripts will be chosen to receive one week's rehearsal with a director and professional actors ending with a public reading at Harvard's Pool Theatre in Adams House. Playwrights must be available for the rehearsal process as well as the public readings Dec. 6-8. Room and board are provided for those playwrights who are from outside the Boston area.

Deadline for submissions is Oct. 31. Interested playwrights should send a letter of introduction, a resume or biography, script-sized self address stamped envelope and one securely bound copy of their play with name, address and telephone number on it to:
