News Harvey Miller's Cheap Date Runs to June 28 in L.A. LOS ANGELES -- Harvey Miller is a veteran comedy writer/director/actor with major credits to his name but he is making his stage debut with A Cheap Date With Harvey Miller, which opened May 23 at the Court Theatre.

LOS ANGELES -- Harvey Miller is a veteran comedy writer/director/actor with major credits to his name but he is making his stage debut with A Cheap Date With Harvey Miller, which opened May 23 at the Court Theatre.

Miller, who did the screenplay for Private Benjamin, wrote and directed such hit television shows as The Odd Couple, Taxi and The Tracey Ullman Show, and has acted in such films as Big and Awakenings. He will appear solo at the Court. He promises to recount the ups and downs of his life in and out of show business, "dropping as many names as possible along the way."

Presented by Julian Schlossberg and produced by Leigh McLeod Fortier, the show is directed by Robert Walden. The set design is by Thomas A. Brown, lighting design by Frank McKown and original music by Steve Tyrell.

Thurs.-Sat. at 8 PM; Sun. at 7 PM through June 28. Tickets are $20 with a $5 discount available for students & seniors. The Court Theatre is at 722 N. La Cienaga Blvd. Call (888) 566-8489.
