Broadway comes to HBO Dec. 7 with the first of three musicals taped live on The Great White Way.

Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde kicks off the HBO theatrical salute on Dec. 7 on HBO Signature at 9 PM ET. The musical, which casts TV's David Hasselhoff in the dual title role, also features Andrea Rivette and Coleen Sexton. Repeat broadcasts are scheduled for Dec. 12 at 5 PM, Dec. 15 at 6:45 PM, Dec. 20 at 1:15 PM, Dec. 21 at 12 AM, Dec. 26 at 8 AM and 9 PM and Dec. 31 at 11:15 AM, all on HBO Signature. HBO will air Jekyll & Hyde on Saturday, Dec. 28 at 4:45 PM.

Putting It Together, the Stephen Sondheim "review," will air on HBO Signature at 9 PM ET on Jan. 4, 2003 and again on HBO at 1:45 PM ET on Jan. 14. The five-person musical salute to Broadway's reigning composer-lyricist stars Carol Burnett, George Hearn, John Barrowman, Ruthie Henshall and Bronson Pinchot and features such tunes as "Hello Little Girl," "Sooner or Later," "Country House," "Could I Leave You?," "Marry Me a Little" and "Unworthy of Your Love."

The final offering is Smokey Joe's Cafe, the long running revue that featured the songs of Leiber and Stoller. The TV broadcast features the talents of original cast members Ken Ard, Arian Bailey, Brenda Braxton, Victor Trent Cook, B.J. Crosby, DeLee Lively and Frederick B. Owens and will air on HBO Signature and HBO in early 2003. Song titles include "Jailhouse Rock," "Houng Dog," "Stand By Me," "Spanish Harlem" and "On Broadway."
