Film & TV News   Hear Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Take on the Magic School Bus Theme Song

The animated series is getting a Netflix reboot with a tune from the Tony- and Pulitzer-winning creator of Hamilton.

Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Lin-Manuel Miranda has lent his voice to the small screen once more. The Hamilton and In the Heights creator is the new voice of The Magic School Bus’ theme song, as heard on Netflix’s upcoming reboot of the science-oriented animated children’s series: The Magic School Bus Rides Again.

The reimagined show features Saturday Night Live Emmy winner Kate McKinnon as Ms. Frizzle, the younger sister of the original series’ Professor Frizzle (voiced by Lily Tomlin). Just as before, the students of Walkerville School accompany her on trips to such places as across the internet and into the sun.
