News Hedwig, Fun Home and If/Then Producers Show You How to Pitch Like a Pro Ever wanted to know how to pitch new productions to industry professionals? The Off-Broadway Alliance will hold a special edition of its Sunday Seminar series focusing on how to pitch producers. The panel at the "Off-Broadway Shark Tank" will feature producers from Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Fun Home, Grease, Cougar the Musical, If/Then and more.

The free event will be held Jan. 25 at noon at the Snapple Theater Center. Registration is necessary. Following the format of the popular TV show "Shark Tank," the seminar will discuss the process of pitching a producer and the audience will observe three teams pitch their shows to the team of theater “Sharks” in the hopes of making a deal. In addition, questions from the audience will be asked live at the seminar.

The Off-Broadway Alliance is made up of Off-Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing firms. They are a non-profit organization made up of theatre professionals dedicated to supporting, promoting and encouraging the production of Off-Broadway theatre.

The Snapple Theater Center is located at 210 West 50th St, New York. Doors will open at 11:30 AM. The panel will take place from noon-1:30 PM with additional time allotted afterward for conversation with fellow attendees. To register, visit offbroadwaysharktank.eventbrite.com
