The free event will be held Jan. 25 at noon at the Snapple Theater Center. Registration is necessary. Following the format of the popular TV show "Shark Tank," the seminar will discuss the process of pitching a producer and the audience will observe three teams pitch their shows to the team of theater “Sharks” in the hopes of making a deal. In addition, questions from the audience will be asked live at the seminar.
The Off-Broadway Alliance is made up of Off-Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing firms. They are a non-profit organization made up of theatre professionals dedicated to supporting, promoting and encouraging the production of Off-Broadway theatre.
