News Helen Mirren to Be Interviewed On London Stage as Fundraiser for National Youth Theatre of Great Britain Dame Helen Mirren, currently appearing in The Audience at the West End's Gielgud Theatre, will appear there June 10 at 2:30 PM London time in An Audience with Helen Mirren, a fundraising interview for The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain (NYT).

The acclaimed actress will be interviewed by Paul Roseby, artistic director of the NYT, and also answer questions from current NYT members. Mirren is herself a former NYT member, one of whose earliest roles for the company was playing Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra.

The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain was established in 1956 as the first youth theatre in the world, and over the past 57 years it has nurtured the talent of hundreds of thousands of young people. Other alumni include Daniel Craig, Colin Firth, Rosamund Pike, Daniel Day-Lewis, Orlando Bloom, Catherine Tate, Sir Ben Kingsley, Ashley Jensen, Sir Derek Jacobi, Timothy Dalton, David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Hugh Bonneville, Matt Smith and many more.
