The 52nd Project will present Make a Brave Show: The Courageous Plays, ten shows written by 10-year-olds who have been mentored by theatre professionals and performed by professional actors. The production is part of the organization's semi-annual Playmaking series.

The 52nd Street Project's Playmaking Series pairs children living in Hell's Kitchen with accomplished actors, directors and dramaturgs. They are taken out of town for a writers' retreat in the countryside to writer their plays, which are then given a run of professional performances.

Performances of Make a Brave Show: The Courageous Plays will run March 27-29 at the 52nd Street Project's Five Angels Theatre.

The directors involved include George Babiak, Eliza Baldi, Chelsea Hackett, January LaVoy, Flor De Liz Perez, Max Posner, Austin Regan, Colette Robert, Michael Walkup and James Yaegashi; with the help of dramaturgs Sarah Johnsrude and Garrett Kim.

The cast includes Clea Alsip, Alia Attallah, Molly Bernard, Billy Crudup, Ray Fisher, Emma Galvin, Nancy Giles, Rebecca Henderson, Greg Hildreth, Korey Jackson, Sue Jean Kim, Irene Sofia Lucio, Ben Mehl, Genesis Oliver, Ashley Marie Ortiz, Michael Potts, Christopher Randolph, Will Rogers, Kristen Sieh and Felix Solis.
