The 7 PM evening, which benefits The Acting Company's education programs, will be directed by Melvin Bernhardt. Joining the previously announced Victoria Clark (as Bridget Drake) and Boyd Gaines (as Jimmie Lee) will be Tom Hewitt (Roger Woodruf), Marceline Hugo (Pierre), Angela Pierce (Mary Howard), Erika Rolsfrud (Claire Woodruf) and Erik Steele (Walter Manners). Lauren Hatcher will read the stage directions, and Spiff Wiegand will be featured at the piano. When Ladies Meet, according to press notes, concerns a "publisher’s mistress who unwittingly becomes friendly with the publisher’s wife. When the two women get together to discuss the characters of a new book one of them is writing, they are unaware that they both love the same man—just like the characters in the novel." The play was originally produced on Broadway in 1932.

The Acting Company, America's foremost touring repertory theatre and arts education program, was honored in 2003 with the Tony for Excellence in Theater. Founded in 1972 by John Houseman and Margot Harley, its alumni include Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, Jeffrey Wright, Frances Conroy, Casey Biggs and Jesse L. Martin.

The Culture Project is located at 45 Bleecker Street. Tickets, priced $35-$55, are available by calling the Acting Company at (212) 258-3111.
