The Nyack theatre, which is currently presenting Meredith Willson's The Music Man through Dec. 28, will kick off the new year with a production of Meshuggah-Nuns!. The all-new adventure from Nunsense creator Dan Goggins finds the sisters of Hoboken occupied by a Fiddler revue. The musical, with book, music and lyrics by Goggins, will play Jan. 31-Feb. 15, 2004.
"All in the Family" star Sally Struthers and Christa Jackson will head the cast of Always, Patsy Cline, March 13-28. Ted Swindley's musical play pays tribute to the late country singer Patsy Cline and concerns the friendship between Cline (Jackson) and a fan from Houston named Louise Seger (Struthers). Twenty-seven of Cline's hits are featured in the production including "Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces" and "Sweet Dreams."
Cy Coleman and Michael Stewart's I Love My Life is the next offering at the Hayes, playing April 10-25. Set in Trenton, NJ, the 1970's musical explores the relationship between two longtime friends and their wives.
A new romantic comedy, My Cousin's Wedding, follows. Kirk Hanley and Maribeth Monroe's play takes the audience "through all the rites and rituals" associated with a couple's blessed event. My Cousin's Wedding will be mounted June 5-20.
