PlayBlog High's Kathleen Turner Chats on "Good Morning America" (Video) Stage and screen star Kathleen Turner visited ABC's "Good Morning America" to talk about her new Broadway play High, which is set to officially open on April 19 at the Booth Theatre.

Turner plays a nun who is assigned to help a young drug addict in the new Broadway drama. On "Good Morning America," Turner briefly discusses personally dealing with alcohol addiction in her past, and what this brings to her character and performance in the production.

High is described as a play that "explores the universal themes of truth, forgiveness, redemption and human fallibility. When Sister Jamison Connelly (Turner) agrees to sponsor a 19-year-old drug user (Evan Jonigkeit) in an effort to help him combat his addiction, her own faith is ultimately tested. Struggling between the knowledge she possesses as a rehabilitation counselor and a woman of religious conviction, she begins to question her belief in miracles and whether people can find the courage to change."
