Violinist Hilary Hahn and mandolinist Chris Thile will perform together at a benefit concert at the Housing Works Bookstore in New York on Tuesday, October 10 to celebrate their dual album releases.

Hahn, at 26 one of her generation's most respected classical musicians, will release a new Deutsche Grammophon album on October 10 featuring Paganini's Violin Concerto No. 1 and Louis Spohr's Violin Concerto No. 8.

Twenty-five-year-old virtuoso mandolin player Chris Thile's new album, How to Grow a Woman from the Ground (also to be released on October 10), explores the boundaries of bluegrass.

Housing Works is located at 126 Crosby Street in Soho. Doors open at 7 pm and the performance is scheduled to begin at 7:30. Tickets are available on the Housing Works website (www.housingworks.org) for $15.
