News Hoboken Cabaret Festival Features Runolfsson, Gold and Green; Awards to Marzullo and Wallowitch The Hoboken Cabaret Festival is set for Friday, March 5 at New Jersey's Center for the Performing Arts at DeBaun Auditorium.

The evening, which begins at 8 PM, will feature 24 of New York's most prominent cabaret artists as well as songwriters Julie Gold ("From a Distance") and Carol Hall (The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas). Cabaretgoers can also expect to enjoy the talents of Lisa Asher, Judy Barnett, Bobby Belfry, Joanne Beretta, Scott Coulter, Brandon Cutrell, Barbara Fasano, Jim Gavin, Amanda Green, David Gurland, Rick Jensen, Audrey Lavine, Lynn Lobban, Jeanne MacDonald, Marieann Meringolo, Carolyn Montgomery, Julie Reyburn, Ruby Rims, Ric Ryder, Anne Runolfsson, Marcus Simeone and Lennie Watts. Produced and directed by Phil Geoffrey Bond, the first-ever Hoboken Cabaret Festival will also feature the presentation of two awards. The Duplex Cabaret Theatre Award for New Composers will be presented to Steve Marzullo, and The Blue Angel Award for outstanding contributions to the art of cabaret will be presented to John Wallowitch.
