About the upcoming international tour, Mamma Mia! producer Judy Cramer said in a statement, "I am thrilled that the international tour of Mamma Mia! will debut in Dublin. This will be the first time that the show will have been seen in Ireland and, as 11 of the songs featured in the show were number one hits there, we hope the omens are good!"
Mamma Mia! features music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, a book by Catherine Johnson, direction by Phyllida Lloyd and choreography by Anthony Van Laast. The musical continues to play Broadway's Winter Garden, where it celebrated its 1,000th performance March 4.
