Performances of the musical, based on the Oscar-winning film, will now continue through Dec. 21, according to courant.com.

Holiday Inn features music by Irving Berlin and a new book by Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge. Greenberg also directs the Goodspeed production with Michael O'Flaherty as musical director. Denis Jones (Honeymoon in Vegas) choreographs.

Noah Racey leads the production as Ted Hanover. Hayley Podschun plays Lila Dixon with Tally Sessions as Jim Hardy. Linda Mason is played by Patti Murin, and Susan Mosher plays Louise. Danny Reed is played by Danny Rutigliano, and the role of Charlie Winslow is played by Noah Marlowe.

The ensemble includes Alissa Alter, Abby Church, Darien Crago, Caley Crawford, Jeremiah Ginn, Juliane Godfrey, Laura Harrison, Bryan Thomas Hunt, Charles MacEachern, Karl Skyler Urban, Amy Van Norstrand, John T. Wolfe, Sarah Fagan, Darrell T. Joe, and Spencer Stanley.

Here's how Goodspeed bills the musical: "Happy holidays! Check into the tuneful world-premiere musical about a Connecticut farmhouse transformed into a jubilant nightspot — but only on holidays. From Valentine's Day to the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving to Christmas, expect a cornucopia of hit songs by Irving Berlin in a dance-dizzy romance based on the classic film that first starred Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby. Raise a glass of cheer to 'Happy Holiday,' 'Easter Parade,' 'Be Careful, It's My Heart' and more of the world's greatest show tunes." The design team includes Anna Louizos as scenic designer, Alejo Vietti as costume designer, Tony winner Jeff Croiter as lighting designer and Jay Hilton as sound designer.

Holiday Inn is produced in association with Universal Stage Productions and by arrangement with The Irving Berlin Music Company. It is produced for Goodspeed Musicals by Michael P. Price.
