"Hollywood Squares" host Peter Marshall, who also starred in the original Broadway production of La Cage aux Folles, and Dawn Wells, from the television classic "Gilligan's Island," star in the production that runs through July 17. Nancy Robillard directs.

Gurney’s play, according to press notes, "chronicles the relationship between Andrew Makepeace Ladd (Marshall) and Melissa Gardner (Wells), whose poignantly funny friendship and ill-fated romance takes them from second grade through adolescence, young adulthood and into middle age. Love Letters is about a fifty-year love affair carried on primarily through letters, written in and about a world where letter-writing was very much an essential mode of communication."

Surflight Theatre is located at 201 Engleside Avenue, Beach Haven, NJ. For more information and tickets, call (609) 492-9477 or visit www.surflight.org.
