On August 1, former Saturday Night Live regular Bobby Moynihan announced the arrival of his daughter with his wife, actor Brynn O'Malley.

While Moynihan is most famous as the sketch comedy show’s Drunk Uncle, O’Malley has been culling a career on Broadway for years. Making her Broadway debut as a replacement Belle in Beauty and the Beast, O’Malley then took over the role of Amber Von Tussle in the Tony-winning Hairspray in 2007. A year later she understudied the roles of Dot/Marie in the 2008 revival of Sunday in the Park with George at Studio 54 before she became the Wicked Witch of the East, replacing as Nessarose in Wicked. In 2012, she was seen as Daddy Warbucks’ secretary Grace Farrell in the revival of Annie. But it was Honeymoon in Vegas that marked O’Malley’s first time originating a principal role on Broadway.

O’Malley and Moynihan wed August 13, 2016, at the Brooklyn Winery in an event planned by Broadway’s unofficial wedding planner, Jason Mitchell.

Congratulations to the new parents.
