News Hope Springs Eternal: Erin Mackey Will Be New Ingenue of Anything Goes Erin Mackey, once of Broadway's Wicked and Sondheim On Sondheim, will succeed Laura Osnes as Hope Harcourt in the Tony Award-winning revival of Anything Goes starting Sept. 13.

Osnes (Broadway's Grease and South Pacific) exits Sept. 11, next aiming herself for the Broadway musical Bonnie & Clyde.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes is a limited engagement that has been extended through Jan. 8, 2012.

The new production of the Cole Porter musical won the 2011 Tony for Best Musical Revival, plus Tonys for choreographer Kathleen Marshall and Best Actress Sutton Foster. Marshall also directed.

Foster plays Reno Sweeney. Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey is Moonface Martin.

Mackey will play the heiress love interest of Billy Crocker, played by Colin Donnell; she gets to sing "It's De-Lovely" and "Goodbye, Little Dream, Goodbye," among other Porter hits. Mackey played the role of Glinda in the Broadway, Los Angeles and Chicago companies of Wicked. Anything Goes plays the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street). It was originally scheduled to run through July 31.

The cast currently features John McMartin as Elisha Whitney, Kelly Bishop as Evangeline Harcourt, Adam Godley as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Jessica Stone as Erma, Walter Charles as Captain, Robert Creighton as Purser, Andrew Cao as Luke and Raymond J. Lee as John. Additional cast members include Clyde Alves, Ward Billeisen, Joyce Chittick, Margot De La Barre, Daniel J. Edwards, Kimberly Fauré, Josh Franklin, Justin Greer, Tari Kelly, Michelle Lookadoo, Shina Ann Morris, Linda Mugleston, Kevin Munhall, Mary Michael Patterson, Adam Perry, Hayley Podschun, William Ryall, Jennifer Savelli, Anthony Wayne, Kristen Beth Williams.

The show has music and lyrics by Cole Porter; original book by P.G. Wodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse; New book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman.
