Ars Nova's free play-reading series, Out Loud, continues March 10 with Catherine Trieschmann's Hot Georgia Sunday.

Directed by Wendy C. Goldberg, the reading begins at 7 PM. The cast features John Conlee, Megan Ferguson and Phoebe Strole.

"In the Vickery family's small southern town," read Hot Georgia Sunday press notes, "religion runs deep, Jim Beam flows freely, and gossip spreads like wildfire. [The play] is a tragicomic tale of lust, betrayal, and the limits of faith in one fractured family, from a fierce and theatrical new voice."

Playwright Trieschmann has also penned The Bridegroom of Blowing Rock (recipient of the L. Arnold Weissberger Award), Before the Fire, crooked and The World of Others. She is currently working on a commission for South Coast Repertory Theatre and a screenplay adaptation of the novel "Angel's Crest" for Process Media. Crooked will make its New York premiere in April at the Women's Project.

Ars Nova is located in Manhattan at 511 West 54th Street. Reservations are required by calling (212) 977-1700 or by emailing rsvp@arsnovanyc.com. For more information visit www.arsnovanyc.com.
