The Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, who last summer presented their tour of The Mischievous Juan Bobo (Los Titingos de Juan Bobo), now premiere Sebastian Junyent's The House Must Be Dismantled at their midtown Manhattan locale. The English language world premiere opens April 26 for a run through May 27.
In The House Must Be Dismantled, two sisters are reunited after a long separation when their parents die. The play focuses on their relationship and how they must now learn how to deal with each other after broken dreams and unfulfilled expectations.
Alba Oms directs the production starring Georgina Corbo and Fulvia Vergel as the siblings. The design team features Regina Garcia (sets), Barbara Kent (costumes) and Sarah Sidman (lighting).
