After being tapped to play Violet and Carl in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life—streaming on Netflix today—the Tony winners knew to bring their A-game.

Ever the professionals, the two found time to rehearse The History of Stars Hollow: The Musical (written by Town Selectman Taylor Doose in the show, but written in real life by Tony winner Jeanine Tesori) whenever they could. Turns out, that meant learning the song “Love Revolution” the morning of shooting.
