Michael Park, currently starring in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, took home his second Daytime Emmy for his performance in "As the World Turns." Park was honored with the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Jack Snyder. The actor took home the same award last year at the 2010 Daytime Emmy ceremony.

Other notable winners included "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show; there was also a tie between Mehmet Oz ("The Dr. Oz Show") and Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa ("Live with Regis and Kelly") for Outstanding Talk Show Host.

Also, "Yes, Virginia (There's A Santa Claus)," written by Macy's associate creative director Wesley Whatley and creative director Bill Schermerhorn, won the Daytime Emmy for Original Song. "Yes, Virginia" premiered in the 2010 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, where Tony nominee Ann Hampton Callaway performed the song aboard the "Winter Wonderland in Central Park" float, accompanied by kids from the Young People's Chorus of NY.

Among the theatre folk nominated at this year's ceremony were Chris Jackson (In the Heights), Bill Sherman (In the Heights), Adam Schlesinger (Cry-Baby), Willie Reale (A Year With Frog and Toad), Martin Short (Little Me, The Goodbye Girl) and Brian Kerwin (August: Osage County).
