Directed and choreographed by Keith Andrews, the production features Broadway's Howie Michael Smith as Princeton (and Rod); Ashley Eileen Bucknam as Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut; and Rebecca Larkin as Christmas Eve.

Avenue Q has music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and a book by Jeff Whitty. Based on an original concept by Lopez and Marx, puppets were conceived and designed by Rick Lyon.

The musical, according to press notes, is described as such: "This funny and irreverent show conveys life’s tough lessons through the trials and tribulations of Princeton, a bright eyed college graduate, who is anxious to discover his purpose in life; but first, he must find an apartment and a job, with no work experience — just like the other characters living on Avenue Q!"
